Special Day for Candy
Wow, did you read how Sweetest Day was started? Apparently a bunch of candy companies in Cleveland decided to create a day or week to try to sell more candy. It wasn’t as successful as they had hoped, but it’s still somewhat popular in Michigan and Ohio. But I’m guessing most people have never heard of it other places. Until today of course - thanks Hot Chick.
How can you pass up an opportunity to eat some candy? It’s like going to the movies - you feel like you have to get at least a box of chocolate covered cookie dough. And it’s not unhealthy because you’re at the movies - and it’s not unhealthy because it’s sweetest day. That’s logical, right?
So I was taking a look at some Valentines Day gift candies out there and found some interesting stuff. Anybody can get a normal can-you-guess-whats-inside-please-god-i-hope-its-not-coconut box of chocolates, but at Candy4U.com, you can buy both a candy bra and a candy g-string - seriously.
Slogans for both of those say “for hours of fun at a time”. Umm, hours? Won’t you get sick if you eat candy for hours at a time?
