How would you like to have a picture of your loved one on your blanket or duvet cover? Or even on a pillow or shower curtain? I found a website called FotoBed.com where they put a picture on pretty much anything you can think of.

Now, maybe it’s a tad bit conceited to buy your significant other a picture of yourself on Valentines Day, but maybe you could put a picture of both of you on a duvet cover. Or if you have kids, maybe you can put a picture of the kids on the pillows. Could also work for pets or even loved ones who have passed away.

Yes, believe it or not, I did take shag lessons. I could learn the moves, but I looked like a complete robot out there - no rhythm at all. Big gumpy uncoordinated white guy trying to dance. Quite amusing I’m sure.

Hot Chick, you’ve had some great ideas recently about getting photo albums and digital frames. But first and foremost, you need to get a good digital camera. I’ve bought a couple in the past but somehow managed to lose both of them when the relationship I was in broke off. Not exactly sure how that works. I do seem to remember buying them, yet I don’t have physical evidence of it and no ability to take pictures - except on my phone. I guess I’m not a very good negotiator. Fortunately for me, prices for digital cameras have fallen significantly over the past five years.

Looking into Buy.com, you can even buy one for $63. $63! And I’m sure it’s better than the one I bought for probably $400 four years ago. Anyway, a digital camera is something anyone can use and makes a perfect gift to capture those couples moments.

Ever wonder what it would be like to have your favorite photo turned into a piece of art? It’s easy to do with a sentimental portrait and it’s a great gift for anyone. You can choose from many different styles such as charcoal, watercolor, oil and pastel.

Yeah, ok, maybe that was a bit lazy, but I still think the gift basket could be a nice gift. As for writing the poem, that might be tough. I’ll have to pull out my rhyming dictionary. Roses are red, violets are blue. When I think of you, I have to…. Wait that probably won’t work.

Any guy who has a favorite college team would love one of these to put in his office or living room. For me, I bleed Tar Heel blue and need to get one of these basketball championship shots.

So I’m apparently carrying out a theme of uniqueness and found yet another way to display this Valentine’s Day. This idea is to make any photo of your choice translucent while displaying a verse or poem you create in the foreground.

You simply upload your photo to the site, select a title for the poem, choose a verse or write your own and that’s it!

Personally, as a woman who is sentimental and definitely a hopeless romantic, I can tell you that your girlfriends or wives will love this. (Especially if you choose to write your own poem.)

An added bonus: I almost hate to say this, but I’ve been reading some of the past Clueless Guy blogs and well….. some of them are pretty good ideas. Ladies, a Valentines Day gift that would be great for your man is a collection of sexy self portraits. I live in the Triangle area, and one of my friends is a do-it-all photographer - everything from baby pictures to products for magazines to risque photos. Everything I’ve seen has been very sexy, yet tastefully done.

I guarantee your man will open up the gift, see the pictures, and his jaw will drop. Ok, so I realize that this idea might not be the most romantic one, but definitely unique… not to mention perfect for fun couples just starting out. Think about it this way, you’re a new couple and it’s your first Valentine’s Day. You’re both nervous about gift ideas for each other and let’s face it… most guys think of this day as a Hallmark holiday anyway, so why not make it fun and creative!

All you need to do is send in your photo along with an idea for the scene and these artists will do the rest. It’s that simple. Plus, this gift is perfect for anyone, and for all ages. It’s a nice way to make a somewhat intense holiday into some fun!

With today’s technology, I doubt you’ll find very many who still use disposable cameras or with film. Now it’s all become digital. If you’re like me, you take pictures of everything and are probably trying to find frames and even room to display these memorable moments.

This picture doesn’t quite do it justice. I’ve seen some bloggers absolutely raving about these - check out these posts from Reviews and More and Geeky Housewife. What happens is that you send them a picture and they digitally engrave the picture into the locket. So it’s not like it’s an actual picture simply inserted into the locket. This would be perfect for anyone really, especially those who have lost loved ones.

Personally I’ve seen a bunch of these picture enlargements. Basically, what Canvas on Demand does is take a picture, enlarge it, and turn it into a painting / picture on a canvas. When opening the package, typical reaction ranges anywhere from “wow” to trembling and tears. This would be a perfect Valentine’s Day for anybody really, but especially for moms.
